The Atlas Corporation is a weapon manufacturing corporation supplying arms to the Pandoran market. Weapons manufactured by the Atlas Corporation may be randomly generated in Borderlands, their signature feature being their pearl handles. Atlas, like Hyperion, saw an oppritunity to creat a civilized planet out of Pandora after eridian technoligy was discoved on Promethia. Thier goal was to wipe bandit scum off the side of the planet and civilize the Borderlands. The Crimson Lance , (later the Crimson Raiders) was the law inforcement of the Atlas corperation. After the death of General Knoxx, Atlas cut thier losses and left behind all Crimson Lance soldiers on the planet.
